Go West! A Lucky Luke Adventure

The Daltons have fled to New York, where their stolen loot is hidden in the carts of Monsieur Pierre's group of honest, gullible European immigrants who purchased land in California from Crook, who included a clause requiring them to claim it within 80 days. Joe emotionally manipulates Luke into guiding them there, hoping for an escape opportunity. The usual six-month journey must be shortened to two months, increasing the risk. Due to Lucky's reputation, Crook decides to follow them, planning to sabotage their journey to ensure their failure. Or is there another reason?
