The Kunlun world, a vast archipelago, is plagued by Dark Spirits, a poisonous essence that corrupts the mind. Bai Ze, determined to protect the healing island from these spirits, applies his untested theory. However, his experiment ends in disaster, destroying the island and leading to his expulsion. Seven years later, while on the brink of proving himself with his research, Bai Ze falls victim to a setup. Forced to flee, he finds refuge on the now-ruined healing island, where a qilin named Yi seeks a cure for his slowly growing horn. The young boy suffers from immense frustration and pain, making him vulnerable to the Dark Spirits' erosion. Bai Ze faces a dilemma: he must clear his name while also helping a desperate patient. Will he succeed in banishing the Dark Spirits and healing the world?
