Zone of the Enders: Idolo

A select group of Mars' most talented LEV pilots have recently returned from a training exercise. Some of the pilots encounter difficulties with an UNSF inspection team that harbors animosity towards Mars. The following day, Radiam Lavans and his loyal friend Viola are chosen for a covert project involving an Orbital Frame named Idolo. The Metatron that constitutes the Orbital Frame possesses concealed side effects that could propel Lavans to greatness or drive him to complete madness.
