Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 3D animated series set during the period between Star Wars Episodes II and III. It follows the events of the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. The series premiered in 2008 and has been running for several seasons. George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, has stated that there will be at least 100 episodes produced. Dave Filoni is the supervising director, while Genndy Tartakovsky, director of the previous Clone Wars series, is not involved.
