The story takes place in Jasper, Nevada, where three young humans, Jack, Miko, and Rafael, witness a battle between giant transforming robots. They are brought to the base of the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, who explains they are from Cybertron. The Autobots fought a war against the Decepticons on Cybertron. Megatron returns from exile and tries to conquer Earth using Dark Energon to revive the dead. In the end, Megatron's plan fails and the Space Bridge explodes.
