**Plot Summary**: Golion, a powerful sentient robot, becomes notorious for his brutality against creatures known as the Deathblack Beastmen, declaring himself invincible. As punishment for his arrogance, a divine space entity separates Golion into five distinct lion robots. In 1999, five young men return to a post-nuclear Earth and encounter the Galra, an alien race. They eventually travel to the planet Altea, where they discover that the five lion robots are in hibernation across the planet. To save humanity, they must reunite the lions to form Golion, the only hope for their survival.
