Beck is a young program who rises to become the skilled leader of a revolution within the computer world known as The Grid. His mission is to liberate his home and friends from the oppressive rule of the villainous Clu and his enforcer, General Tesler. Beck is trained by Tron, the Grid’s greatest warrior, who teaches him the combat and light cycle skills necessary to resist the brutal regime. Beyond that, Tron mentors Beck, helping him mature from a reckless youth into a brave and powerful leader. As the next Tron, Beck adopts Tron's identity, becoming the nemesis of General Tesler and his oppressive forces.
