Mr. Pickles is a demonic border collie dog owned by the Goodman family, who live in the sleepy, traditional neighborhood of Old Town with their naive 6-year-old son Tommy. While Tommy, the Pickles family, and everyone else Mr. Pickles tolerates—aside from Tommy's grandfather—spend their days having fun in Old Town, Mr. Pickles slips away in secret to murder and dismember his innumerable victims. Mr. Pickles frequently puts his victims back together and raises them from the dead; they then live in his subterranean lair and carry out his orders. In contrast to the naive sheriff, Mr. Pickles brings some order to Old Town by going on a violent rampage against everyone who bothers him, threatens his son, or gets in his way.
