Streamlined compared to earlier versions of Yogi and his friends, this iteration focuses exclusively on Yogi, Boo Boo, Cindy, and Ranger Smith, with all episodes set in Jellystone Park. It also introduces three new characters: Ranger Roubideux, Ranger Smith's chubby and diminutive assistant; Ninja Raccoon, a young raccoon cub dressed in a kimono; and Blubber Bear from "Wacky Races," a large grizzly bear who towers over Yogi.
