G.I. Joe Extreme is a short-lived line of military-themed toys produced by Hasbro, accompanied by a two-season animated series from Sunbow Productions and two comic mini-series by Dark Horse Comics. It serves as a sequel to the earlier G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series, with a one-shot video titled Sgt. Savage and the Screaming Eagles acting as a bridge between the two. The only character carried over from this video is Sgt. Savage, leading many collectors to view the Screaming Eagles toys as part of the G.I. Joe Extreme toyline.
