Ancient Books of Ys

In Ancient Books of Ys, Adol Christin, a young adventurer from the mainland, sails to the besieged land of Esteria, where he discovers a realm overrun by beasts controlled by the malevolent priest Dark Fact. The people of Esteria are running out of time, but a prophecy foretells the arrival of a hero from another land—Adol Christin—who will come to their rescue. In Ancient Books of Ys II, having triumphed over Dark Fact, Adol and two priestesses journey to the floating land of Ys, where evil's grip on the populace is even stronger, leaving them devoid of hope. As Adol embraces his role as heir to the priests' powers, he becomes the key to revealing the truth about Ys and its future. However, with his growing power comes the potential for both salvation and destruction, leaving the fate of Ys hanging in the balance.
