Each episode begins with Touché emerging from his shell and receiving a phone call from someone in trouble. His phone, often on a sterling silver plate, is equipped to accept all major credit cards. Touché and his sidekick Dum-Dum then head to the crime scene, engaging in various antics that may include swordplay, boxing, martial arts, and pyrotechnics. The show originally aired with 52 episodes from September 1962 to August 1963. Touché and Dum-Dum also appeared in a few 1960s-early 1970s Hanna-Barbera comic books and were featured in Hanna-Barbera's 50th anniversary special in 1988.
