Siblings Chuck and Nancy discover a mysterious chest containing two halves of a strange ring in a Maine cave. When they combine the rings, they are transported to the Arabian Nights, where they encounter their genie, Shazzan. Shazzan provides them with a flying camel named Kaboobie and magical items like an invisibility cloak and a magic rope. He explains that they must deliver the rings to the Wizard of the 7th Mountain to return home. Shazzan is a large, wise, and cheerful genie who carries Chuck, Nancy, and Kaboobie in his hand. He calls them his "little masters." Chuck and Nancy wear the halves of the ring, which they must join to summon Shazzan in times of need or danger.
