During a school trip, a bus filled with students is abruptly transported to another world by a sage named Sion. She grants most of the students special powers known as Gifts, hoping to enlist them as fellow sages. However, some are left out, causing the others to abandon them. Yogiri Takatou, one of the students without a Gift, awakens to find the bus under attack by a dragon. In the midst of the chaos, he uses his natural ability to instantly kill anything, effortlessly defeating the dragon.
