Idol Project

Cute fourteen-year-old Mimu Emilton is attending the yearly Starland Festival in hopes of achieving her goal of becoming an idol like her idol, Yuri. The President of Earth, Yuri, has urged people to join the ranks of Excellent Idols since it is the most joyous occasion on an unified Earth. Misadventure after misadventure puts Mimu in precarious situations—usually including undergarment exposure, I may add—that she only manages to escape with the aid of the current Excellent Idols, whom she befriends, making it impossible for her to get at her audition on time. But as soon as she takes her position on the stage and starts doing her audition, she and the other Excellent Idols are abducted by an unidentified gang of aliens. If only Mimu can believe in herself, she will be in a position to save the world as it is only the beginning of a crazy interdimensional goose-chase.
