Louie is the director's adopted son and a magic student at the mage academy. But he still does poorly at magic. Instead, he is skilled in drinking, flirting, and bar brawling. He runs upon a group of females (a priestess, a warrior, and a thief) one day who are seeking a magician to help them open a ruin entrance, but they flatly reject him because of his pitiful magic abilities. He tries to push his way in, but when they reject him, he interrupts Melissa, the priestess, in the middle of a sacred ceremony, revealing Louie as her boss. As stated by Miley, they are now forced to accept them, and this marks the start of this "mage's" brand-new journey.
