A young girl who claims to have the same name as Usagi and has been dubbed "Chibiusa" by Usagi and the others falls from the sky after Sailor Moon returns the Earth to normal and is ready to live a regular life once more with Mamoru and her pals. While searching for Chibiusa and the Silver Crystal, a group of evildoers known as the Black Moon Clan, led by Prince Demande, start a series of activities that result in the kidnapping of the Sailor's Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter. The daughter of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask from a future destroyed by the Clan, Chibiusa is now known. She is looking for Sailor Moon and the Silver Crystal to save her mother. Along with meeting the Guardian of Time and Sailor Pluto, Chibiusa is accompanied to the future by Sailor Moon and her pals.
