Five frog-like extraterrestrial troops from Planet Keron make up the Keroro Platoon. Every time they attempt to conquer "Pekopon," as they refer to "Earth," they fall short. Sergeant Keroro, their leader, is inept and has little desire to take over Pekopon. Instead, he prefers to create plastic Gundam models, watch TV, or devise business plans. The platoon's other four members are Sergeant Major Kururu, a bright but mischievous soldier, Private Second Class Tamama, an endearing but brutal soldier, and Lance Corporal Dororo, a disciplined but traumatized soldier.
