We Without Wings – Under the Innocent Sky

In the winter, young people will meet in the large city of Yanagihara and fall in love. Teenager Takashi Haneda wants to leave for another planet, but he is deterred by his younger sister Kobato Haneda and his girlfriend Asuka Watarai. Despite their early disdain for one another, student author Hiyoko Tamaizumi and destitute part-timer Shsuke Chitose are forced to work together. Until a girl named Naru Ohtori pays him a visit, the reclusive Hayato Narita makes a life as a handyman. The activities of three major groups of people are covered in three distinct vignettes that make up the anime series. The first movie stars Takashi Haneda as the primary male character and centers on his activities at school and close friends. The second, starring Shsuke Chitose as the major male character, centers on a bar called Alexander and his close friends. The third is centered on Hayato Narita's friends from the streets and features him as the major male lead. While still being presented chronologically, the vignettes grow increasingly intricate and interconnected as the series goes on. There are some side stories that are told, but they are directly related to the three main male characters mentioned above.
