Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

Yu-Gi-Oh! takes place ten years after the events of the original. A young child named Jaden Yuki (Judai Yuki), who attends Duel Academy, a school established by Seto Kaiba where aspirant duelists receive training in the discipline of Duel Monsters, is one of the new generation of duelists that GX follows. The "Egyptian God" cards from Battle City serve as the basis for the academy's internal ranking system. Only the best duelists or those from affluent families reside in Obelisk Blue, the highest dorm. The second-highest dorm, Ra Yellow, is populated by duelists that score highly academically, perform well in class, and have the potential to be the best. The students who do poorly and require a lot of assistance to improve are housed in Slifer Red, the lowest-ranked dorm. If they make progress, students can go on to the next dormitory. This Yu-Gi-Oh! series concentrates on the "Fusion Summon," a kind of summoning that the protagonist and many other characters use.
