Saya, a World Space Association agent, gets a startling communication one day stating that she has been tasked with stopping a significant number of asteroids from colliding with Earth. Sadly, the only chance to preserve the Earth is to have three people with exceptional talent perform a brand-new maneuver on a crane game, which will launch an energy beam that can redirect asteroids. Asuka, Mirai, and Kyouko, three high school girls, are the only three individuals with sufficient potential. Saya makes them work at an arcade where she can watch them, telling them that she has scouted them as idols in order to harness their energy. She tells the girls that developing their talents is the first step in idol training and that all successful idols are adept at crane games. The girls start to question Saya's motives as they pick up new crane game strategies, but they are unaware that the fate of the planet is in their hands.
