The "Deployer 7," also known as the "Sun Fang" team, are a tiny group of guerilla independence fighters on the colonial planet Deployer. With the backing of the Earth's Federation, the elected governor of Deployer unexpectedly seizes power and imposes martial law. The freedom fighters use their own Combat Armor, the Dougram, to launch a revolt against the Federation's Combat Armors in their quest for liberation from the power of the Federation on Earth.
