Black Dynamite

The show, which is set in the 1970s, mostly pays homage to and parodies blaxploitation movies. The series follows the exploits of Black Dynamite, Bullhorn, Cream Corn, and Honey Bee as they get into risky and outrageous misadventures, occasionally with well-known figures like Michael Jackson, O. J. Simpson, Bill Cosby, Sidney Poitier, Richard Pryor, Don Cornelius, Dick Clark, Spike Lee, Mr. T, Orphan Arnold, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Bob Marley, Bo Derek, Rick James, Elvis Presley, Fred Rogers Fiendish Dr. Wu serves as the head of a group of ninjas in the program, which alludes to the original Black Dynamite movie. The series is set before the events of the movie, and characters that were killed off in the movie (such as Bullhorn and Cream Corn) still appear in it. This is illustrated in an episode where Cream Corn, riding in a helicopter, prophesies his own impending demise.
