The Teen Angels (Brenda, Dee Dee, and Taffy) and their pal Captain Caveman (or Cavey for short), an ancient caveman whom the girls discovered and thawed from a block of ice, are the main characters in this animated series. Captain Caveman has extraordinary strength, a variety of handy items hidden beneath his fur, the ability to fly, and a club that can be used to launch various tools that he employs to battle crime. Mel Blanc lent his voice to Captain Caveman. Through 1979, "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics" and "Scooby's All-Stars" both featured the first and second seasons of the program. On the half-hour "Laff-A-Lympics" segment, Cavey and the girls competed in sporting events as a part of The Scooby Doobies team. Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels received their own half-hour show in March 1980, which featured 16 brand-new episodes as well as reruns from the years 1977 to 1979.
