A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
In a brief cameo, Lucy persuades Charlie Brown to kick her football by telling him it's a Thanksgiving custom. As usual, Lucy takes the ball away and says that some customs pass away. Charlie Brown receives a call from Peppermint Patty, who is spending Thanksgiving alone and wants to join the Browns for dinner, as they are getting ready to leave for their grandmother's for Thanksgiving dinner. Peppermint Patty quickly adds Marcie and Franklin to the dinner guest list with two subsequent phone calls. Charlie Brown is surprised when Linus advises that he have two Thanksgiving dinners—one for himself, Peppermint Patty, and the others, and the other at his grandparents' house for his family. Snoopy sets up a ping pong table and chairs as Woodstock and Snoopy are enlisted by Linus as helpers. A feast of toast, pan-fried popcorn, pretzel sticks, and jelly beans is then prepared by Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, and Linus.
