Initial D Legend 1 Awakening

On a foggy morning, Keisuke Takahashi spots a black and white Toyota AE86 racing past his Mazda RX7 on Mount Akina, leading him to believe he has encountered the ghost of a deceased racer. Determined to confront this phantom, Keisuke rallies the Akagi Red Suns to challenge the local Akina Speed Stars in an exchange race, hoping to draw out the mysterious "Ghost of Akina" and seek revenge for his previous defeat. Meanwhile, Takumi Fujiwara, who makes tofu deliveries in his father's old AE86, is indifferent to the thrill of racing, unlike his enthusiastic friend Itsuki Takeuchi. Takumi has become intimately familiar with the mountain's twists and turns through his daily routes. When the Akagi team challenges the Speed Stars, the latter realize they are at a significant disadvantage. The only chance they have to compete lies in convincing Takumi to drive the AE86. After some persuasion, Takumi agrees and takes the wheel, ready to defend the honor of Akina’s racers on the challenging mountain roads.
