The Cat Returns

High school student Haru Yoshioka feels bored with her everyday life until she saves Prince Lune of the Cat Kingdom from being hit by a truck. As a thank-you, the Cat King sends her "presents" and invites her to become Lune's wife. Miscommunication leads to the belief that Haru has accepted the proposal. As she tries to figure out how to escape, a mysterious voice tells her to find the Cat Bureau. However, once she arrives, a swarm of cats takes her to the Cat Kingdom, along with a member of the Cat Bureau. Concerned for their safety, Baron Humbert von Gikkingen, the owner of the bureau, follows them. As Haru becomes more involved in the Cat Kingdom, she starts to take on cat-like traits. She soon discovers that if she doesn't find her true self, she might remain a cat forever. Her journey in the cat world becomes a path to self-discovery, helping her return more confident than before.
