Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.3 - On the Other Side of Love and Hate

Shinya Kougami wanders the Southeast Asian Union, evading the Sibyl System from Japan. While in the Tibet-Himalayan Alliance Kingdom, he meets Guillermo Garcia, the commander of a paramilitary group seeking to unite local factions for peace in the war-torn region. Although hesitant to join another mercenary cause, Kougami agrees to be taken to the nearby Tibetan capital by one of Garcia's men. His intention to stay uninvolved quickly changes when a bus of refugees is attacked by armed guerrillas. Among the refugees is Tenzing Wangchuck, a half-Japanese, half-Tibetan girl who, impressed by Kougami's combat skills, asks him to teach her to fight so she can avenge her family's murder at the hands of a warlord. Kougami, aware of the irreversible consequences of taking a life, is initially reluctant to help. However, he feels a connection to Wangchuck’s desire for vengeance, reflecting the darkness within himself. Faced with this shared pain, he must decide whether to train her.
