Sound! Euphonium the Movie: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band

After a traumatic experience at a regional middle school concert band competition, euphonist Kumiko Oumae decides to leave music behind as she enters high school, seeking a fresh start. However, she soon finds herself surrounded by classmates passionate about the high school brass band. With encouragement from her bandmates—new friends like novice tubist Hazuki Katou and veteran contrabassist Sapphire Kawashima, as well as old friends like her childhood companion and trombonist Shuuichi Tsukamoto, and middle school trumpeter Reina Kousaka—Kumiko gradually rediscovers her motivation to make music. Despite their aspirations to qualify for the national band competition, the band faces numerous challenges. Their immediate goal of simply participating in the local festival seems daunting, unless the new band advisor, Noboru Taki, can help them get their act together. Chaos within the group adds to the struggle, but with determination and teamwork, they strive to overcome their obstacles.
