InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time

During their journey in the feudal era to gather the shards of the Shikon Jewel, Inuyasha, Kagome Higurashi, and their friends become targets of Menoumaru Hyouga, a demon awakened by one of the fragments who seeks Inuyasha's heirloom sword, Tessaiga. Following a confrontation between Inuyasha and Menoumaru's fathers, Tessaiga becomes the key to restoring Menoumaru's family legacy. When Menoumaru ambushes Inuyasha, he learns that only Tessaiga's rightful owner can wield it. Undeterred, he kidnaps Kagome to force Inuyasha to use the sword and unlock the sealed powers of the Hyouga clan. With the help of their loyal companions, Inuyasha and Kagome confront Menoumaru, unaware that his dark motives and immense power threaten not only their world but also the future.
