Lonely Castle in the Mirror

In a quiet Tokyo neighborhood, seven students are avoiding school, hiding in their darkened rooms and unable to face family and friends, until they discover that their mirrors are shining. With a single touch, they are transported from their lonely lives into a magical castle reminiscent of a Grimm's fairy tale. This whimsical place, strangely devoid of food and running water but filled with electrical outlets, is home to a moody girl in a mask known as the Wolf Queen. It becomes their playground and refuge during school hours. Within the castle, they learn that a key granting one wish is hidden somewhere inside, along with clues to find it. However, they must locate the key by the end of the school year and leave the castle by five o'clock each day, or face dire consequences. As time goes on, a painful truth reveals itself: only those willing to share their stories can be saved. They begin to uncover each other's narratives: one boy overwhelmed with gadgets but lacking love, another facing a painful rejection, and a girl living in fear of her predatory stepfather. As they navigate the rules of their peculiar game, a powerful story unfolds about seven characters trapped in cycles of misunderstanding and loneliness, ultimately finding freedom through friendship, empathy, and sacrifice.
