Patlabor: The Movie

The Babylon Project, a massive renovation of Tokyo's neighborhoods, involves creating artificial islands in the Bay. With the help of Labors, robots designed for work, architects and construction crews are efficiently developing the project. However, when a key figure behind the project is found dead after a mysterious suicide, Captain Kiichi Gotou's Patlabor police unit is assigned to investigate. As more Labors malfunction and a hacked AI program threatens Tokyo, young pilot Noa Izumi and her Patlabor Alphonse work alongside Gotou to save the city and the nation from a vast biblical conspiracy.
