Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School - Future Arc is an anime series that serves as the conclusion to the "Hope's Peak Academy" saga started in the "Danganronpa" video games. It is primarily set after the events of "Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair." In the "Future Arc," Makoto Naegi, the protagonist of the first game, is put on trial by the Future Foundation for harboring the Remnants of Despair. However, things go awry when Monokuma, the franchise's infamous bear-like robot, takes over and traps the Future Foundation members in a new killing game. The characters are forced into a survival game, where a victim and a killer will be chosen every time a time limit is reached. If the killer isn't identified, all the survivors will be punished. The game continues until there are only a few survivors left, setting up a dramatic and thrilling scenario that explores themes of trust, hope, and despair.
