Gundam Build Fighters

Due to the popularity of the Mobile Suit Gundam series in the 1980s, a period of economic boom known as the Gunpla Boom was brought on by the sales of model kits for the Gundam vehicle. Years later, following the second Gunpla Boom's commercial success, competitions known as Gunpla Battles are started all over the world to determine which customized Gunpla and its creator are the greatest. An annual international competition is the culmination of these wildly popular Gunpla Battles. The first series' central character is Sei Iori, a teenage student and Gunpla Builder who aspires to one day surpass his father's skill and become the best Gunpla Fighter in the competition. His talent is well-honed, and his family owns a modest Gunpla shop. However, his poor piloting skills have caused him to lose a number of first-round matches. However, he encounters a strange youngster named Reiji one day who ends up helping him. Reiji gives him a jewel and says that if Sei wishes hard enough, he would help him. They'll take on the world of Gunpla Battle together and fight in the competition with Sei's customized Gunpla, the GAT-X105B Build Strike Gundam.
