Nobunagun

The supranational organization DOGOO developed specialized soldiers known as E-Gene holders through DNA manipulation to defend the Earth against the looming invasion of the extraterrestrial species only known as "Evolutionary Invasion Objects" (EIO). These E-Gene owners are various historical personalities who have had reincarnations. E-gene owners can summon AU weaponry with an affinity to their allocated historical figure and use them against the invaders using specialized weapons called AU balls. One of them is Sio Ogura, who is a reincarnation of Oda Nobunaga. Her dreams about her military history, however, are the only things she remembers about her previous life. Along with her classmate Kaoru Asao, Sio finds herself in the thick of a conflict between Evolutionary Invasion Objects and Dogoo's E-gene holders while on a school trip to Taiwan. When Kaoru encounters an Evolutionary Invasion Object and one of the E-Gene holders, the reincarnation of Jack the Ripper, is rendered ineffective and in danger, Sio utilizes Jack's AU ball to completely activate her E-Gene holder status. She acquires the powerful machine gun that is her AU armament and works with the other E-Gene owners to stop the Taiwan invasion. She reluctantly agrees to join DOGOO at Kaoru's request.
