The Rolling Girls

After the Great Tokyo War, Japan's political structure has disintegrated into ten autonomous nations, each of which is ruled by a gang under the leadership of a "Best," a self-declared prophet with nefarious superpowers. Nozomi Moritomo is a "Rest"—a typical young woman who has only recently joined the neighborhood gang as a rookie. She wishes to support her childhood friend and role model, the Best Masami Utoku, in the ongoing territory struggle. Nozomi makes the decision to set out on a journey to fulfill the requests made of Masami from all around Japan when Masami sustains terrible injuries and is unable to defend herself. Ai Hibiki, a positive girl who enjoys food, Yukina Kosaka, a bashful girl with no sense of direction, Chiaya Misono, a quiet girl who wears a gas mask, and Chiaya Misono are all people she meets along the way. The four females embark on a cross-country motorcycle trip while engaging in territorial conflicts, quarrels, and even shady schemes.
