During the Second World War, the Japanese once employed the potent strategy of onmyoudou magic to get the upper hand and build their country as a strong force. But once the revered onmyouji Yakou Tsuchimikado brought about the "Great Spiritual Disaster," which still causes problems for Tokyo today, Japan was easily overthrown. After this tragedy, the Onmyou Agency was founded to exorcise future spiritual catastrophes and battle the demons that would enter the planet.
