AI Football GGO
The interaction between sports and technology in the twenty-first century is rapidly approaching the point where human testing alone cannot keep up with the widely varying requirements. People start looking for ways to ensure that everyone can continue enjoy football games as more human footballers retire due to permanent injuries. One of them, a research consultant only known as Professor GGO, suggests the creation of a palm-sized, artificially intelligent football robot. The amazing notion amuses people, and soon the creation of robots emerges as the newest global phenomenon. Dr. Coleman, a technical consultant for the GGO Football Association, drew up a counter strategy two years before the first episode of the series to deter his fellow scientist, Dr. Stan, from conducting cruel experiments for his personal dominance. Professor GGO vanished, however, while he was creating a footballer of a new generation who was programmed to stop Stan's scheme. When Coleman realized this, he divided his research information in two and stored one half in the football player, whom he later transferred to Shanghai. He hoped that his close friend Ball would identify the ideal candidate to "manage" the football player and help him advance to the World Tournament.
