The experiences of a police officer who favors using an axe in combat are the subject of the book Axe Cop. He is a rough, gruff man who only wants to kill criminals. The comic concentrates on the occasions when he is summoned away from his routine to assist with more difficult issues, such rescuing a child from a zombie dog woman, assisting Bat Warthog Man in finding his buddies, or providing child care.
