Bounty Hamster
A 13-year-old girl named Cassie Harrison is looking throughout the universe for her father after space pirates abducted him. She asks Marion, a talking blue hamster who is the only bounty hunter she can afford, to help her. Together, they search the universe for Cassie's father in an odd-couple fashion. The pair's blue spacecraft is made up of two parts: a tiny driving cockpit that can be removed so it may be used to fly down to a planet like a jolly boat from a ship, and a larger booster component that is mounted on top of the smaller driving compartment. Driving-related scenes frequently feature huge objects and spaces that seem to exist inside the ship. The ship is called Keith. Marion frequently makes jokes about retrieving numerous or peculiar objects from his cheeks, which he treats as big pockets. In one situation, he rescues Cassie and himself from a precipice by pulling out a variety of items, including a cruise ship. The joke in which C-3PO from Star Wars appears in the ship and Cassie inquires as to his identity is another example of a science fiction allusion.
