ChalkZone
Rudy Tabootie, a 10-year-old fifth-grader who enjoys drawing, is voiced by E. G. Daily. Rudy's grumpy schoolteacher Mr. Wilter (Robert Cait), who abhors cartoons in general and Rudy's love of art in particular, regularly teases him or gets him into trouble with Reggie Bullnerd, the school bully, as well as Rudy's passion for drawing. In the ChalkZone, a realm where everything and everyone that has ever been drawn and erased by chalk takes form as living or is tangible, Rudy one day finds a piece of "White Lightnin'" chalk when he is in jail. He quickly befriends Snap (Candi Milo), a little, blue, humanoid drawing Rudy created when he was only 8 years old. Snap is highly daring and humorous, and he sports a superhero suit. Rudy only shares information about ChalkZone with his best friend Penny Sanchez, who serves as the group's creative genius (speaking voice, Hynden Walch; singing voice, Robbyn Kirmssè). While in ChalkZone, the three are introduced to Cyclops (Rodger Bumpass), the kilt-wearing guardian of the magic chalk mines where Rudy obtains his magic chalk (Rudy later draws a second eye for him and renames him "Biclops"); Queen Rapsheeba (Rosslynn Taylor), ChalkZone's musical artist whom Snap has a crush on; and Blocky (Candi Milo; Robert Cait), a light green block friend of Snap's and Rudy's first-ever drawing. The Craniacs (Rob Paulsen), a group of robot drawings obsessed with acquiring futuristic technology, and Skrawl (Jim Cummings), a drawing that hates Rudy for being ugly, are other foes they must contend with.
