Code Lyoko: Evolution

Aelita Schaeffer, Jeremy Belpois, Odd Della Robbia, Ulrich Stern, Yumi Ishiyama, and the recently welcomed William Dunbar resume their lives at Kadic Academy a year after the events of the anime's fourth season. Despite having defeated X.A.N.A., it unexpectedly reemerges, now stronger than ever. The group must once again defend humanity against this threat by restarting their double lives and activating Franz Hopper's quantum supercomputer, which powers the virtual world of Lyoko. Determined to understand X.A.N.A.'s return and eliminate it for good, the seven heroes, including the newly accepted William and the unreliable genius Laura Gauthier, set out on their mission. X.A.N.A. is hindered by a shortage of essential "Source Codes," which it injected into the Lyoko Warriors during their final virtualization in the original series. As a result, X.A.N.A. cannot take over the network and is instead attempting to recover these codes through its polymorphic specters. Jeremy warns that if X.A.N.A. succeeds, it could regain control over the internet. With the ability to disable towers on Lyoko, X.A.N.A. poses a significant threat, particularly since only William can operate them at present. To counter this, Jeremy, with Laura's help, is developing a virus aimed at finally eradicating X.A.N.A. once and for all.
