Conan the Adventurer
Conan lived his entire life in Cimmeria with his parents. One night, while journeying with his grandfather, he witnessed meteors, referred to as "fiery tears," falling from the sky. Conan collected these meteors and brought them home. His father, the town blacksmith, used the meteorite ore to forge Star Metal, creating weapons and equipment that would never rust, shatter, or dull. While he sold most of his creations, he kept the finest—a magnificent sword—for Conan, placing it in a crypt protected by a large stone slab. Conan's father advised him to wait until he was "man enough" to lift the slab and claim the sword. Meanwhile, the evil wizard Wrath-Amon, a Serpent Man, learned about Star Metal and its power to create gateways between universes. He sought the metal to free his deity, Set, from "the Abyss," where he had been exiled after trying to enslave humanity. Wrath-Amon enlisted nearly every wizard on Earth to assist him in this quest. In his investigation, he approached Conan's family, but Conan's father deceived him, claiming all the Star Metal had been sold. However, the wizard suspected the truth, as Conan's father had hidden some pieces in other villages. To further his agenda, Wrath-Amon cast a living stone spell on Conan's family.
