The Elusive Samurai

Eight-year-old Tokiyuki Houjou, the heir to the Kamakura shogunate, is a boy with a knack for hide-and-seek but little else. His life changes drastically when Takauji Ashikaga violently takes over, ending the Kamakura rule. Saved by a self-proclaimed prophetic priest, Tokiyuki escapes and must now avoid those who seek his death while gathering allies to restore the Kamakura Shogunate. Set during Japan's Nanboku-chou period, "Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi" is a story of redemption, following the journey of a forgotten hero who changed Japan's fate by fleeing.
