The Academy City is known as being almost 20 to 30 years ahead of the world in terms of technology. The city is mostly consisted of students as the 80% of its population is students. Their focus is into something called ‘esper powers’. Misaka Mikoto and Kuroka Shirai lives in this city together and they are high level espers and the members of the organization called Judgement. Both are going to the same private school named Tokiwadai, a school for the rich. Kazari Uiharu is Kuroko’s partner from the Judgement and is a low level esper, he attends to Sakugawa middle school. Her friend Ruiko Saten is a level zero esper. We see the story of these 4 going through several adventures together.
