Deca-Dence

Many years have passed since the startling appearance of the unidentified life forms known as Gadoll brought humanity to the edge of annihilation. The human survivors now live in a mobile fortress called Deca-dence that is 3000 meters high and was constructed to defend them from the Gadoll threat. The inhabitants of Deca-dence can be divided into two groups: Gears, combatants who engage the Gadoll on a daily basis, and Tankers, non-combatants. Natsume, a Tanker girl with aspirations of becoming a Gear, encounters grumpy Kaburagi, a Deca-dence armor repairman, one day. Our fortuitous encounter between the two individuals who appear to be complete opposites—the optimistic girl who never gives up on her aspirations and the pessimist who has given up on his—will ultimately change the course of this world.
