"Glitter Force Doki Doki" is the English dubbed adaptation of "DokiDoki! Precure," which is a part of the long-running Japanese magical girl anime franchise, "Pretty Cure" by Toei Animation. The series was adapted by Saban Brands and released on Netflix. The story follows Maya Aida, a kind-hearted and somewhat clumsy middle school girl. One day, Maya encounters a magical creature named Kippie who hails from the Splendid Academy, a school for magical girls in the parallel world. Kippie reveals that she's been searching for potential magical girls to become the Glitter Force, warriors chosen to protect the Earth and their own world from the forces of evil. Upon receiving a magical trinket, Maya becomes Glitter Heart, the first member of the Glitter Force. Throughout the series, she's joined by three other girls who become Glitter Diamond, Glitter Clover, and Glitter Spade. Each girl possesses a unique power and represents a different aspect of the human heart: courage, wisdom, love, and innocence.
