Tribe Nine

Young people in Neo-Tokyo established tribes to find their place in the world since they were fed up with civilization. But they developed tremendous group loyalty, which frequently resulted in violence. The government responded by enacting the XB Law, which mandates that Extreme Baseball be used to settle tribal disputes. Extreme Baseball is a futuristic variation of the game with altered rules, less limitations, and strange technological uses, with players utilizing extensible bats and pitchers wearing unusual equipment. Shun Kamiya and Taiga come to Haru Shirokane's rescue after he is bullied by a bunch of young people. It turns out that Shun is a top Extreme Baseball player who captains the Minato Tribe, Minato City's highest-ranked squad. Taiga intends to overcome Shun in order to surpass him as the sport's best fighter. Taiga and Haru are coerced into affiliating with the Minato Tribe in a series of unplanned incidents that enable Shun to realize their potential. The Minato Tribe may only need the strength of their two new rookies to escape the grasp of evil as the tribes in Minato City face a new challenge commanded by the enigmatic Oujirou Otori.
