"Albator 84," known as "Space Pirate Captain Harlock: Arcadia of My Youth - Endless Orbit SSX" in Japan, is an anime series that aired from 1982 to 1983. It's a sequel to the original "Space Pirate Captain Harlock" anime, and it's a part of the larger Leijiverse, a shared universe that features characters created by manga artist Leiji Matsumoto. The series follows the space pirate Captain Harlock, a freedom fighter who opposes the tyranny of the Earth's conquerors, the Illumidas. After the defeat in the previous series, Harlock and his crew continue their resistance against the Illumidas aboard the rebuilt spaceship Arcadia. In "Albator 84," Harlock, his loyal crew members, and their allies embark on a journey through space to find a mythical "Planet of Peace" where humanity can live free from oppression. Along the way, they face various challenges from the Illumidas and other hostile forces.
