Blue Comet SPT Layzner

As an alternative to the TV show, there is the Layzner OVA. The first episode, "Eiji 1996," provides a summary of the first season of the show (episodes 01-24). After a time jump, the second episode ("Le Caine 1999"), which includes episodes 26 through 37, takes place (episode 25 of the TV series, being a recap itself, is skipped here). The series' concluding episode, "Seal 2000," was expanded from the original (38) and includes additional animation and a longer epilogue.
